BEAUTIFUL...

Wow...has it really been over two weeks since I've blogged???
Lots going on around here with out upcoming adoption...but more about that later.

Today, I'm soooo excited to share a new maternity session. My friend Katie was up for anything...even a trip to the junkyard in the rain!! We had so much fun with this session and I am thrilled with what we got!! I had fun playing around with some textures on these too!! Enjoy...

Shew...

What a super busy and blessed season it has been for Selah Studios Photography!! I feel like October was just a few days ago. I am most grateful for all of the families who trusted me with their Christmas photos this year and wanted tell you what a blast it was to spend the time with each one of you! I LURVE, LURVE, LURVE my job!!! There may be a sprinkling (okay, maybe a downpour) of late nights and a neglect of mommy/wife duties (thanks Matt for picking up the slack!!)during "busy season" but what a blessing to be given the gift of making people smile and capturing the blessings in the lives of my clients to be hung on a wall, or placed in an album for reliving over and over again.

I have a few more sessions that never made it on the blog as sneak peeks that I wanted to share...

The "C" Family...

Oh So Precious Ms. R...

And another fun urban maternity/family shoot...

Urban Maternity...Need I Say More?

What could be cooler and more artsy than urban maternity! I was sooo excited about this session!! It was cold and breezy when we shot this, but this awesome family (who have become friends) did amazing...even Ms. R (the precious three-year-old in these shots). She even decided on some of her own poses...and OMGoodness they were stinkin' cute. I totally broke my rules of not posting too many sneak peeks...just couldn't help it!!

shot through the fence

added a little texture

can you believe this awesome find in the junkyard??? (the drawers and Ms. R, of course!!)

color???

or black and white??? Can't decide which I like best!!

Ms. R striking a pose!

I wish I could have gotten some sky under her belly so you could see the bump better, but still, I think this is oh so sweet!!
